Dr Angelita Kithatu-Kiwekete
As a local government expert, Angelita’s field of expertise situates her between the public and the development sector where she primarily seeks to uplift communities and individuals at the grassroots level.
Angelita is passionate about the empowerment of marginalised communities and directs her capacities towards this broad vision through her work in NGOs and research related activities. More importantly she is conversant with gender issues and works to provide strategic linkages conceptually and practically between vulnerable women in community; policy and development processes and has authored as well as made presentations in this regard at the local, regional and international platforms.
Presently she is a research fellow at the Department of Public Management and Governance, at the University of Johannesburg; a Director at an Advisory, Auditing and Training firm; a board member of the Refugee Children’s Project, an NGO that works to facilitate documentation for refugee families in South Africa, economic empowerment of women as well as ensure their access to education and basic amenities; a wife and mother.
Clara Mdlalose
Clara is an award-winning Event Planner and Certified PCO (Professional Conference Organiser) as well as a member of SAACI (the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry). She is the former Director of PR and Events at Protea Hotels in Polokwane, Limpopo. She is a former Fundraiser for the Midwives Association of Southern Africa and The First Ladys Trust Limpopo. Mosima Nkosi
Mosima is a tax specialist who has spent the bulk of her career in the tax field as an Auditor, Audit Team Leader, Audit Manager, Enforcement Manager, Accounts & Debt Management Senior Manager. She has also worked with the organization’s Institute of Learning & Leadership – involved in developing leadership development programs and facilitating training of these leadership programs. She has also been involved in Employee Relations by presiding and initiating disciplinary hearings. Thabisile Phumo
Thabisile has a career spanning two decades in the public and private sector specialising in corporate communications, social development, media relations, curriculum development and training at organisations such as Sibanye Gold, Anglo American Platinum, United Nations, UNISA, PRISA and CGE. She holds several qualifications in Corporate Communications, Public Relations Management, Project Management, Social Development and Leadership.
